There is no shortage of good options.

CAUTION! - The Prudhoe Bay Excursion is an EXTREME Adventure and should only be undertaken by riders with experience on unpaved roads in a variety of adverse weather conditions. The trip includes riding several hundred miles on unpaved roads which are sometimes slick due to rain, sleet and occasionally snow. Unlike our other adventures, Prudhoe Bay riders will be responsible for up to $3,000 in damages to the motorcycle.

Our Prudhoe Bay Excursion is in a class by itself! It's the only guided motorcycle tour that features new BMW GS motorcycles and support consistent with the Ayres Adventures Style. Features include:

  • Current model, low mileage BMW motorcycles equipped with Continental TKC-80 dual-sport tires
  • Support vehicle and trailer for transporting rider luggage, a spare motorcycle, and non-riding companions. Designed to provide total "self-suffiency", the trailer includes spare tires, tire changing equipment, and air compressor.
  • All breakfasts and dinners
  • Premium accommodations and meals, except where premium accommodations are not available. In these cases we use the best accommodations available.
  • An opportunity to view North America's highest mountain (Mt. McKinley), ride the Denali Highway, view Alaska's incredible wildlife, and enjoy the small, rustic towns along the way.

Our Alaska and Canada schedule has been designed to permit riders wishing to experience this unique ride to the edge of the North American continent to do so immediately after our Alaska & Yukon Adventure.  For riders who combine the Prudhoe Bay Excursion with our Alaska and Yukon Adventure, we'll include the cost of lodging for the days between the trips. For riders wishing to rent a motorcycle for the intervening days, we'll provide recommendations for exciting day rides to fill up to three free days between trips.
