This 14-day Machu Picchu Excursion provides riders the opportunity to visit many of the most popular attractions of South America's Andes Mountains "Ayres Adventures Style" - comfortable upscale accommodations and meals, paved highways, and the excitement of the Andes Mountains. The itinerary includes Argentina, Chile, and Peru with a visit to Machu Picchu as the trip's major highlight. Other attractions include Chile's Andes Mountain resort of San Pedro de Atacama, the Atacama Desert, Peru's Colca Canyon (the world's deepest) and Lake Titicaca.

Day 1: Arrival Day Tucumán, Argentina.

Welcome to Argentina! We will pick you up at the airport of Tucumán and transport you to our 4-Star base hotel. It’s within walking distance from the city center. We will all come together for the kickoff meeting, where we take care of the motorcycle handover and provide a briefing about the tour. The welcome dinner in the evening will be suitable kickoff for our coming Adventure.

Day 2: Tucumán - Cafayate. The first riding day makes us familiar with South American roads and gives us a taste of the high Andes on our way to Cafayate.

Day 3: Free day in Cafayate. Enjoy the 5-star resort and winery of "Patios de Cafayate", visit the village and explore the surroundings of this Argentinian wine region.

To Purmamarca Day 4: Cafayate to Purmamarca. Today's ride features stunning scenery, challenging roads and passes that lead us up to 14.000 ft - this day doesn't leave any wish open!

Day 5: Purmarca to San Pedro de Atacama. High altitude riding all day long - we cross the border to Chile! Our destination is the driest desert of the planet - the Atacama.

Valley of the Moon

Day 6: Free day in San Pedro de Atacama. Enjoy our 5-star luxury lodge, walk around in this lovely laid-back community and go for a ride to watch the sunset in the Moon Valley! It's like being on a different planet.

Iquique

Day 7: San Pedro de Atacama to Iquique.  Today 5we descend the Andes to the Pacific Ocean and enjoy the ride on the Panamerican Highway to the seaside resort of Iquique.

Day 8: Iquique to Arica. Today we ride the Panamerican Highway north to Arica. We'll ride through canyons up to 3,000 feet deep. Look forward to a great dinner on the beachfront.

El Misti Day 9 - Arica - Arequipa . Prepare to ride up and away again! After the border crossing to Peru we return to the Andes. Arequipa is a beautiful city surrounded by spectacular mountains, the most famous of which is the volcano "El Misti"
Colca Canyon Day 10 : Arequipa – Colca Canyon – Chivay (~180 km) Ride across 4000+ m high passes to the Colca Canyon – one of the deepest canyons in the world. Watch the condors circle in the rising air of this scenic highlight!
Day 11: Chivay - Puno (~310 km) - Lake Titicaca. Climb the Andes once again to the highest navigable lake in the world - Lake Titicaca! After our arrival in Puno we visit the Uros on their floating islands.
Day 12 - Puno to Cuzco. Ride the Andes the entire day at high altitudes and ride through stunning scenery to our final destination: Cuzco, the ancient capital of the Incas!
Day 13 : Free at Cuzco - Today ids dedicated to visiting the world famous Machu Picchu!
Munich Day 14: Departure from Cuzco
