Ron,

We wanted you to know how pleased we were with our recent trip. Your people made our Adventure on your South American Splendours tour a trip of a lifetime. Your company’s attention to detail went way beyond our expectations in every aspect.

The quality of the up front planning and the assistance we received in doing our own planning set the stage. Roberta kept us informed and did a great job helping us prepare. The Plan Ahead was invaluable. Barbara Brunson at Colwick Travel also made all of our flight arrangements simple and hassle free.

Once we arrived in South America Mauricio, Joao and Marcello were simply marvellous. We instantly felt we were among close friends. They were constantly looking for ways to enhance the individual experience of every member of the group. For example, on St. Valentines a bouquet of roses was presented to Janine at the restaurant. A wonderful surprise Mauricio had secretly arranged.

We also found that at many of the places we stayed or visited, our group was welcomed like old friends. The people we encountered throughout South America were extremely warm and friendly. Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Brazil are all beautiful and fascinating countries. The route gave us a wide variety of great roads and great scenery. We definitely want to experience more; especially Brazil as we really only had a brief glimpse on this trip.

The bikes were in flawless condition and kept that way. Every morning we simply jumped on a clean and fully serviced machine. Most days when we arrived at the hotel we were handed our key and directed to our room where our luggage was waiting.

I don’t need to tell you about the food or the hotels – fantastic! Your description of the accommodations and meals is understated in your advertising. I regularly travel for business and stay in many fine hotels. The majority of hotels we stayed in on this tour exceed North America standards both in facilities and service.

We will definitely be returning to South America with Ayres as soon as we can.

For now, we simply want to say thank you to everyone at Ayres.
