Our 13-day Legendary Norway Tour embodies the “Ayres Adventures Style”! It combines riding on marvelous roads in three different countries with a great deal of history and culture as well as spectacular scenery. The tour’s special feature: most overnight stays are in historic hotels –
buildings,
sometimes centuries old, completely refurbished and serving as a 4-star or 5-star hotel. Whether a former castle, monastery or “simply”
a 600 year old building – these places have style – Ayres Adventures Style!
Highlights include:
- The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cesky Krumlov - A rest day in Dresden (the hotel is right next to the Frauenkirche – a famous
Lutheran church)
- A ride through Germany’s capital of Berlin, the ride on the “German Alley Road” - A luxury overnight ferry to Norway - Mostly easy and
sometimes twisty, but always beautiful back country roads in all countries.
- Spectacular scenery in Norway (fjords, mountains, glaciers and waterfalls)
- The colorful norwegian cities of Bergen, Alesund and Trondheim
- Norway’s most spectacular pass road (Trollstigen) and a ferry ride through Geiranger Fjord.
Riders may wish to arrive in Munich one or two days early to visit the nearby BMW museum, numerous beer gardens, famous parks and also the
“Hofbräuhaus” (one of Munich’s oldest breweries) and of course the famous bavarian “Gemütlichkeit” (coziness)! The base hotel (München Marriott)
is located in a quiet part of the city, yet close to the main boulevard (10 minutes walking) and 5 minutes by taxi from the BMW museum.
