The north coast of Japan’s main island Honshu is much wilder and rougher than the south coast with its big industrial regions – and this was our playground today! Twisties, corners, sweepers, nice coffee stops, beautiful viewpoints and half a loop around the still snow-covered Mt. Daisen (a popular ski area in winter) was our program today. The temperature was in the 70s and the sun was smiling – Japan does offer a lot of great riding! The ever present blooming cherry trees add of course to the fun.
In the afternoon we stopped by Japan’s highest sand dunes in Tottori, before we arrived in our hotel – Japanese style, of course! The view from our hotel room: breathtaking! This was another day in paradise…
