Another absolutely amazing day of riding in one of the most beautiful countries in the world!
Today we rode west of the centre of Iceland, from North to South! The morning started off chilly with a little rain which was just enough to keep the dust down on the gravel roads! Throughout the day we only saw about a dozen cars, it felt as though we were riding on top of the moon, all on our own. The scenery, completely different after yesterday’s coastal ride, was just as breathtaking yet so vastly different. Quick stop for coffee at some natural geysers before taking off for more great riding. During today’s ride we had it all, great gravel roads, breathtaking scenery, geysers, waterfalls and volcanos! Tonight’s dinner is at a wonderful local restaurant, right on the beach!
