As time draws closer to the start of out Epic Journey we are on track with all the tour logistics. The shipping container with the bikes has arrived in Riga, been cleared through customs and they are now safely in storage awaiting the riders.
Whilst the official start of the tour is only July 31, several of the riders are landing a few days early to enjoy the historical city of Riga. In fact a couple of the riders on the Epic Journey are currently riding around Europe on our Dutch Treat Tour as well as a private tour of Europe.
Our new support vehicle, a Mercedes Sprinter, is currently undergoing some preparation and customizing work to ensure that it is properly outfitted and set up as the ideal support and luggage vehicle for this incredible 13 000 mile adventure.
As soon as the tour starts on July 31 we will have live tracking of the tour with our Spot device which will send regular updates with the groups location as we traverse through 5 incredible journeys.
Riders will be able to post personal journals and pictures about their experiences during the tour, so be sure to keep an eye on the Live Waypoints Page and feel free to make comments at the bottom of each page.
